ACANTHUS AUREUS AWARD
Best Exhibition Pavilion Award for BOS Bank
at POLEKO 2014 International Building Fair.
This year we had the pleasure to design a pavilion stand for the Bank of Environmental Protection during Poleko fair. The stand was designed to showcase the innovative elements of the new product: BOS ECOSYSTEM - a hybrid heating system, which consists of a boiler module, solar module, photovoltaic module and the heat pump module. Guidelines prepared by the Investor assumed divisions of the stand for diffrent interlocking zones as seen in typical house to present individual elements of BOS Ecosystem. Our suggested proposal is based on the concept of bent ribbon, which separates the garden area, utility area, living room with dining room and kitchen. Individual folds create area associated with the operation of the stand during the fair: information and product presentation zone, a zone of open conversations with customers, private chat space zone, coffee zone and facilities. Form of the pavilion is dynamically composed by separate but open spaces that encourage visitors to enter from all directions.
POLEKO is one of the most important trade fairs in Central and Eastern Europe devoted to renewable energy resources, ecology and environmental protection. BOS Bank, which has participated in the event, was also presentig its wide range of ecological loans offered to customers including individuals, businesses, housing associations and local governments.
The pavilion was awarded the "Acanthus Aureus Award". This award has become a tradition of the International Building Fair in Poznan, Poland. The aim of the competition is to award the best architectural and graphic solutions that foster direct communication with the client and emphasize the positive image of the company.
The ribbon rising and falling notes the presence of the BOS Bank stand in hall space. Dynamic green ribbon highlights the innovative and eco-friendly policy of the Bank of Environmental Protection.
On the stand were incorporated elements of living green: green wall in the garden area, green space in dining room and in the kitchen.
The concept of the ribbon consistently translates into graphic design of walls and floors of the stand. Colors: green, white, gray, orange and natural wood colors are matched to the color palette of the BOS Bank.
